Code of conduct
FoundaDate works because everyone at the table is real, single and serious. These are the rules every member agrees to. A person, never an algorithm, reviews every report and makes every removal decision.
Be who you say you are
- Only you use your account. No fake details, no exaggerated company claims.
- Join only if you are single and genuinely looking for a relationship.
Respect, always
- Be kind in answers, messages and at dinner, including when you say no.
- No harassment, pressure, insults or discrimination of any kind.
- "No" is a full answer. Don't ask again after someone declines.
It's not a networking event
- No pitching, fundraising, recruiting or selling to other members.
- Don't use introductions to research companies or competitors.
Keep it private
- Don't share anything another member tells you, including screenshots, without their permission.
- Don't share someone's contact details with anyone else.
Safety
- Meet in public for the first few dates. Our hosted dinners are designed for this.
- If anything makes you uncomfortable, tell us at hey@foundadate.com. We take every report seriously and keep it confidential.
What happens if rules are broken
Depending on what happened, we may give a warning, pause an account or remove a member permanently. Serious matters may be reported to the police.
