    Apply and verify

    Everyone verifies their identity with Singpass. Founders also confirm their company through the business registry.

  2. Second

    Tell us how you live, and ask one question

    A questionnaire on what matters for a founder's partner: risk, time, money when income is uneven, children and relocation. Then you set the one question you want answered before you meet anyone.

  3. Third

    One introduction, answered first

    Each round we suggest one person and tell you why. You each answer the other's question, read the answer, then decide. If you both say yes, we share contact details. If not, nobody knows.

    Meet over a hosted dinner in Singapore. Small tables, good food, and nobody pitching anything.

Every member sets one question. To say yes to an introduction, you answer theirs in a few lines, and they read your answer before deciding. It filters for people who think, not people who swipe.

Founders are semi-public people. Your profile is seen only by the person we introduce you to, and only after we've checked you're who you say you are.

  • Identity through SingpassName, age and marital status come from your Singpass record, so everyone you meet is real and single.
  • Founder status, confirmedFor founders, we check through the business registry that you are a director or shareholder of the company you name.
  • No public profilesThere is no feed and no browsing. Your profile is shown only to the one person we suggest.
  • Members only, verified and payingEveryone you meet has verified who they are and pays to be here, so everyone is serious. Every removal from FoundaDate is decided by a person, never by an algorithm.
  • Software suggests, people decideMatching software proposes introductions and a matchmaker reviews them. Nothing ever writes messages for you, and nothing reads your conversations.
  • Your data stays yoursWe handle personal data under Singapore's PDPA, never sell it, and delete it when you ask.

The first date is dinner.

After a mutual yes, we seat you at a hosted dinner: your introduction across the table, a few other members around it. It takes the pressure off, and nobody has to plan anything.

I'm Fion, FoundaDate's Chief Match Officer. Founders know what building a company does to a calendar, and how hard it is to meet someone who sees the work as part of you rather than competition for your time. My job is to make that easier: verified people, one thoughtful introduction at a time, and dinner instead of endless chat.

Questions people ask

Do I have to be a founder?

No. Half of each round is people who aren't founders but want to build a life with one. Founders are verified as founders; everyone is verified as themselves.

Is this an app?

Not during the pilot. You'll hear from us by email, answer one questionnaire, and get one introduction per round. Dinners happen in person in Singapore.

Who sees my profile?

Only the person we introduce you to, and only for that introduction. There are no public profiles, no search and no feed.

What does it cost?

Joining the waitlist is free. Pilot members pay a refundable deposit to hold a seat, and we'll confirm membership pricing before round one starts.

Can I pay for more matches or a boost?

No. There are no boosts, no paid peeks and no way to jump the queue. You pay for verification, curation and the dinners, and everyone in a round gets the same treatment.

I'm outside Singapore. Can I join?

The first rounds are in Singapore. Join the waitlist anyway and tell us your city: it helps us decide where to go next.
